For our very first face to face meeting we are going to be entertained by Sarah Slater with her Kirtles, Corsets and Curtains talk.

We are welcoming Sarah back, in person this time, after her hugely popular Zoom talk last year – The Ghosts of Hampton Court.

”I will visit your club in your meeting hall, I talk about my journey into historical costuming, the levels of authenticity involved with making period costumes to wear as a tour guide. I wear one of my costumes and bring more along with a mannequin which I dress up. I talk about how the ‘perfect’ silhouette has changed over time and how women have striven to attain it.”
